I’m learning how to trust Jesus Christ in this journey. Not in the “traditional” way that produced tired, income limited, broken family matriarchs, and absent patriarchs. It took me years to arrive here, but I’m here. Free from attempting to please, strangers, and stranger systems and family. I have salvation, renewed life, energy and resolve to use all of His methods and resources. Thank you for sharing your sparkle, and experience, it has helped keep me going forward!

I can indeed relate. I have recently been in a season if compiunding stresses and had to reprioritize what was REALLY important to me. We cant do it all and be everything to everyone; acknowledge it and be ok with it. They always say check on your string friends..we burn out too. Charis, you are such an inspiration. Continue to budget your energy. I plan to do the same. Enjoy that beautiful abode. You deserve it all🤗

Yesssss!!!… There are people ( family, friends , coworkers, etc)… that assume that because you’re accomplished then you should should be the “ strong, where -with-all, provider, counselor, host, banker and do it all without hesitation and immediately… “ you are charged to take care of your mind body soul and spirit , love The Lord, with all your might, love your neighbor as yourself ( and your neighbors ( family, friends, etc) are to love you in the manner… only what’s edifying is is worthy of your personal strengths… you are awesome!!!… I’ll definitely keep you in my prayers ♥️🙏🏽🙌🏼… keep soaring 🦅

Love this Charis! Energy budgeting! There was a time in my life where I was the manager of everything and everyone close to me. I enjoyed doing it, but it got heavy! I began to feel that sometimes even strong people need to lean sometimes. I completely understand where you are coming from. You have. One a long way; quickly! In the midst of the joy and success it had to get heavy. Thank God you’re a survivor; a true leader. Praying for continued blessings for you, Keon and everything you touch!
