After years of dreaming, praying, designing, and believing, we're thrilled to officially open the doors to our second Sassy Jones boutique on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11am cst, and we can't wait to welcome you home.
Why We Call It the Dream House
The name isn't just clever. It's our story.
Originally, we planned to open our Houston boutique in a completely different part of the city. On paper, everything looked perfect.
But something didn't feel right.
Then something extraordinary happened.
On the very same night, my husband, Keon, and I had the exact same dream. We both woke up knowing we needed to pause our original plans.
That decision led us here.
To Historic Almeda.
To this beautiful home.
To a place that feels exactly the way we always hoped Sassy Jones would feel.
That's why we call it The Dream House.
Sometimes the best plans aren't the ones you make.
They're the ones you're brave enough to follow.
More Than a Boutique
We didn't want to create another beautiful store.
Houston has beautiful stores.
We wanted to create a feeling.
The Dream House was inspired by your favorite auntie's home. Not quite Grandma's house, but her sister's. The one where everyone felt welcome. The one where conversations lasted for hours. The one where you laughed the loudest, dreamed the biggest, and always felt safe enough to be yourself.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you'll notice that this isn't traditional retail.
You'll smell warm apple pie.
You'll sink into inviting seating that encourages you to stay awhile.
You'll discover vintage inspired furnishings, collected treasures, beautiful wallpaper, meaningful artwork, and carefully designed spaces that invite you to wander from room to room.
Every detail was chosen intentionally.

Every corner was designed to make you feel at home.

To make your visit as smooth as possible, here are a few helpful tips.
Arrive early if you'd like to be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony.
We expect a crowd throughout the day, so there may be a wait to enter during peak hours.
We'll have fun activities and surprises while you wait.
We gladly accept major credit cards along with Klarna and Afterpay. If you plan to use Buy Now, Pay Later, make sure your account is already set up before arriving.
We are a cashless boutique.
Wear comfortable shoes because you'll want to explore every room.
Don't forget to charge your phone. You'll definitely want photos.
A Historic Beginning
There's something incredibly meaningful about opening inside one of Houston's historic homes.
Rather than building something new, we chose to breathe new life into a home with history, preserving its character while creating new memories inside its walls.
The Dream House is our love letter to beautiful design, meaningful hospitality, and the incredible women who have supported Sassy Jones from kitchen table beginnings to this exciting new chapter.
