I am normally too busy to look through all of the emails I get, so I immediately delete many of them because a clean slate of just a few notifications make me more chill. Your message, however, stopped me in my tracks. It told me, “Breathe, girl, ‘cuz even the greatest (like you, Charis), need to decompress and that’s OK!” In fact, each time I read your message, I get more and more out of it. I actively work to eliminate negative thoughts and people out of my headspace. Sometimes, it’s easier said than done, but the focus is to have a clear mind before going to sleep. Each day is a new day; each hour is a new hour; each minute is a new minute. Renewing energy is all around us. Breathe, inhale, envelop. XO to all the sassy sisters out there.

Today, because I have been sick for a while, I thumbed through my emails and saw this post of all days. I needed this letter today. I have been spent and de-energized for over a year! I have stepped back from a tremendous amount of things in my life to take care of me as of late. God blesses us in many ways. We all need to take our time, to heal, and to rest. But most of all to take charge of our lives. My new life is just beginning!

As we continue to wear the many hats, boundary setting is necessary. I will provide you with the caution tape that states, “you’ve been warned”. The warning phrase is, I am tired!?. I have been saying it, and now the caution tape is up, across the board family, friends, and as a business owner in the field of humanities. I have been told, I seem crabby or better just plain mean. My response was epic, I am taking care of myself, it is deaf defining when those who believe they are entitled to what we have allowed becomes an expectation…wait for it, the veil has been ripped off and the scales are removed as we sit, stand, or yhe knealt position with no one to there but God as he is wiping our frustrated filled tears saying take care of you, it’s not selfish, I need you in the best of health.
You are not alone stay the course as you elevate for you.

But then one day I said NO.
When I began to use that word as a complete sentence, my life re-centered and my energy replenished. I applaud your decision to stop the depletion in your life, Girl!

Dear Charis, I have watched you for years on the website and listened to you on sparkle. You are the best! from your Generation. I’m not surprised at the things you went through but I’m glad you saw the light of God. Long story short, people that love and give like you do have a big, big heart and then one day God let’s you know that’s enough. It’s a lesson learned about the world but God let you come out and through the test. It’s the same test He went through loving and giving. The difference is He laid down his life for us. We can’t lay our live down for the world but you loved them and God said that’s enough. We all love you here at my house and we have prayed for you as we see you. You have touched my life and I am much older than you. You have reached the hearts of many and all ages. You are full and running over with love and life. Lesson learned and I will always charish the fun I have whenever I purchase your products. ❤️❤️ the tears 😢 are running down my eyes. Tears of joy.
