The Dream House is beginning to feel exactly like what we imagined.
Not your grandmother's house, but maybe your auntie's house. Her sister, actually. The one you could talk to about anything. The one who made you feel safe enough to say your wild ideas out loud. The one whose home felt beautiful, but never too precious to sit down, exhale, and stay awhile.
That is the feeling we wanted to create on Almeda.
This concept is intentionally different from our first boutique. Historic Almeda feels familiar. It feels like the kind of neighborhood our founder grew up in. It feels like home. A place that matches your melanin, your memories, your rhythm, and your becoming.
You'll feel it in the scent of apple pie when you walk in. In the upholstery that invites you to linger. In the wallpaper that softens the room. In the details that make you breathe a little deeper and forget, even if just for a moment, how much you're carrying.
The Dream House was designed to feel approachable, safe, soulful, and beautiful. A place where you'll feel inspired to dream out loud.

More Than Four Walls
The Dream House was never meant to be just four walls and beautiful things.
It was created to be a gathering space.
A place where women can linger, laugh, shop, connect, and gather without feeling rushed. A place where conversations can unfold naturally. A place where girlfriends can discover pieces together, where strangers can become familiar, and where the energy feels less like retail and more like reunion.
Yes, you'll shop here.
But our hope is that you'll also feel held here.
That you'll take your time.
That you'll find a corner that feels like yours.
That you'll remember what it feels like to be in a room created with you in mind.

A Celebration Before the Celebration
Before we officially open the doors to the Dream House, we're gathering for something deeply special.
On July 30, we'll host a private dinner at an exclusive private location in Houston, celebrating thirteen years of Sassy Jones and the beginning of this new chapter on Almeda. It will be intimate, heartfelt, and full of gratitude. A quiet moment before the big moment.
Then, on Friday, July 31 at 11 AM, we open the doors to Sassy Nation for our official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
This isn't just an opening.
It's a homecoming.
And every woman who walks through the door becomes part of the story.
