I almost jumped off the recliner when I read that the anxiousness you were feeling derived from Control issues. The almost ran around the room yelling, Glorayyyyyyyyyyy! That! Is! It! With all the hats I wear, I’ve always needed all things to be just so and when they are not, “Lord help!” In 2019, I added the title and title Caregiver. My goodness! God taught me how to pivot. It wasn’t and isn’t easy because my brain isn’t naturally wired that way. However, I’m this process I learned acceptance of the constancy of change. Do I always get it right, absolutely not. I reset and strive for the best outcome on the next occurrence. Thank you for sharing your experience. I needed that Word today.

I was the head of my department.., had been for 26 years. Planned on leaving “ on my time”. Prayed every step towards my office, for God to get me “out of there”. CEO said something to me that I considered disrespectful. I walked out, callled my husband. His words, “ baby I got you” was the vocalization of him and God. Had hard time adjusting as I was always in control; at work, and at home. Retirement has bought me clarity! No control needed..he got you!

So very true, we all have a control demon 😈 😀, we just have to enjoy the view and embrace the little things. Just take a second to relax and breathe. Thank you for sharing.
